One month. 31 days. 744 hours. 44,640 minutes. 2,678,400 seconds.
One month until I am on my way to England. I didn't truly understand how
close my trip actually was until I realized yesterday that today would
make one month. When I think about how quickly 2013 went by, a month
isn't long at all. I know that it will go by just as quick.
Then I think about how much I haven't done. I haven't started
to think about packing. I haven't signed up for airport pickup. I
haven't made copies of my passport. The more I think about it, the more I
start to panic. Then I remember that it will all be done in one month.
It has to be done in one month. It will be okay. I'll get everything
done. There is no need to panic (I'm good at that).
The trip still doesn't feel real. I can't imagine what it
will be like. I've never had an experience like this, so I can't expect
to know how it will be. I have one month to figure it out, but I
honestly don't think that will happen. I will go over there with a lot
of unknowns, but I need to remind myself that everything will fall into
place. Even if it means a little confusion at the beginning.
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever."
-Hebrews 13:8
